Tradition with a twist could be the theme of this elegant Jupiter home. Since 2003, Pat has partnered with this family, creating eight different residences in the process. This main residence is designed to evoke a classic British West Indies style with a modern dash of Ralph Lauren. The varied blues of sky, sea and pool pair perfectly with the crisp whites of both exterior and interior. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow effortlessly one into another, allowing this home to easily welcome the owners’ many children, grandchildren and friends. The pale gray travertine of the pool deck smoothly transitions to the cream stone of the indoor/outdoor dining and living room area with its charcoal accents. Careful planning aided in the creation of this “Fifth Room” which is quickly enclosed thanks to hidden screens and windows. Throughout the home, Pat has introduced her trademark ties to the outdoors--cypress wood graces the ceilings of the outdoor living and dining area, while hardwood floors and the look of different stones are featured elsewhere. Tropical flowers adorn chairs in the breakfast nook, colorful coral highlights a bedspread, rush matting covers a settee and a mirror made of shells accents another bath. At night, the home takes on a magical quality as specially placed lighting highlights walkways, entrances and the pool; the lights around the infinity hot tub can even change color according to one’s mood.
